Other speakers were Nic Millington of The Rural Media Company and Dr Stephen Knott, Founder Post-Doctoral Fellow in Modern Craft, Crafts Study Centre, Farnham.
Leeds Metropolitan University has been commissioned by Arts Council England to coordinate a new Knowledge Exchange Network and a series of seminars exploring key issues in participation and engagement in the arts. The seminars are taking place in areas that have been successful in securing Creative People & Places arts council funding.
The work is being coordinated by Leila Jancovich, from the UK Centre for Events Management, and Professor Franco Bianchini from the Cultural Planning and Policy Unit in the School of Cultural Studies.
