Mill Yarnbomb for the National Centre for Craft & Design, Sleaford

It was a very cold, wet and windy morning when I scaled the heights of the Mill; emerging through the white door in the photo to install my yarnbomb commission. With the help of Laura from the NCCD, the woolly creation was fixed securely in place with

that yarnbombers favourite…the cable tie!
Thank you Curio Cafe (who own the Mill) for bringing us coffee and putting up with our comings and goings during the day……I have discovered a new place to eat cake and hopefully introduced others to this little gem too!

The yarnbomb commission is part of the NCCD’s ‘Concrete Canvas’ exhibition starting 5 May – 24 June and I will be delivering a one day yarnbombing workshop on 12 May.
Please pop by to have a look and leave me a comment if you like it, it’s great to have feedback whether good or constructively not good!
